INPS takes the security of your critical patient data very seriously, and Vision adheres to all NHS data security standards and protocols.
From secure messaging with external applications to integration with national services, Vision is safe and secure. With smart card access, password protection and encryption where appropriate, Vision’s data is always protected from prying eyes.
Remote security
For total peace of mind, the Vision Enterprise System (VES) stores the Vision database in a remote data centre, so patient information is not held locally at the practice.
With a VES deployment the practice does not need to worry about the security and safe keeping of its backups either because the system is backed up automatically each night within the data centre.
