Vision Daybook - Take it to task

Tasks can be assigned to:
- Yourself
- Individual members of staff
- Groups of people, e.g. receptionists or GPs
Vision Daybook is a fully integrated part of Vision. All patient related tasks are audited and the task text details are held in the patient record. The ability to view, add and action tasks is also available from Consultation Manager and Appointments.
Key features include:
Creating tasks
- Add a specific task or select from pre-defined task templates
- Option to attach tasks to a specific patient
- Add text description
- Task Priority (High, Routine and Low)
- Due date and time
- Assign to yourself, an individual or staff group
- Option to receive notification of task completion
- Option to let you know if the task is overdue
Working with tasks
- Change the task e.g. forward to another recipient, change a date or add text comments
- Return to sender
- Record medical history
- Claim ownership of the task

- Launch other Vision applications

Configuration settings include
- Define practice-specific task templates
- Specify practice opening days
- General option settings include default balloon pop-up reminders, default reading pane views etc.
User configuration settings include
- Out-of-office notifications
- Frequent template options
- Categorisation of tasks (colour and naming)
- Sorting and screen preferences e.g. by priority /due date /assigned by
- View my sent tasks, my actioned tasks, tasks for a patient
- Patient /text search options
- All outstanding tasks
- User archiving
- User options to reset default balloon pop-up reminders, reading pane views etc.
