Training

INPS Training Services developed a bespoke 50-day training programme that was carefully designed to address the varying needs of Aston Healthcare’s new, intermediate and advanced Vision users across seven of its practices.
Importance of training
Suzanne Evans explains why regular training is so important, “We have new and established Vision users at our practices, all with varying levels of competence with the system. INPS developed a training plan that allowed us to identify employees with strengths in IT and to ultimately make better use of resource through multi-tasking.”
The reaction to the training was very encouraging, “The organisation of the training has been excellent. We have had nothing but positive feedback and staff have been keen to return to future sessions. We have had several experienced Vision users that have learnt new things, and people are realising that they can work more efficiently and smarter.”
Training benefits
Suzanne explains how Aston Healthcare is seeing the benefit of its investment in training, “At the frontline, admin staff are processing data faster and more accurately, and consultations are quicker and smoother than before - the increased level of competence is obvious. Everyone is more confident with Vision and as a result the end-to-end process from booking-in to consultation is smoother and safer.”
