Hosting

The Vision system at Churchill Medical Centre is deployed using the Vision Enterprise System (VES) model. With no servers at the practice, the critical patient and clinical data are securely hosted within a remote data centre environment.
A headache removed
Dr. Koczan is quick to point out the benefits of a hosted solution, “We don’t need to worry about backups any more because they are part of the hosted managed service. This is a massive headache removed. I’m spending significantly less time looking after the system, which is freeing up about a day of my time each month.”
Hosted performance
The performance of the hosted system also receives praise from Dr. Koczan, “From a user’s perspective, you know there’s a lot going on but you just don’t notice it. In fact, it is so quick I want to know where INPS has hidden the server in the practice!”
Dr. Phil Koczan is Senior GP at Churchill Medical Centre, Chingford, East London, and Clinical Lead for LPfIT.
