Guidelines

Ynysangharad Surgery was the first practice to move to Vision in Rhondda Cynon Taff. After using the system for many years, Pat Evans explains how Vision makes her life easier, “I like just about everything in Vision.  It is simple to use, easy to train new staff and we can tailor it to suit the varying needs of the people using it. Without Vision we would not be able to function properly.”

Better data quality through Guidelines

The practice make extensive use of Vision Guidelines to enhance efficiency and improve data quality, “Helen, our secretary, is excellent at setting up our own in-house Guidelines. We use them for INR monitoring, near patient testing, prostate cancer injections, childhood immunisations and all forms of contraception to name but a few. Staff can just use these instead of searching for Read codes. This means we all use the same codes, saving time and being more efficient.”

Vision – the best system

Why does Pat think she is using the best system?  “Vision is used by the majority of practices in our area, and when you compare it to other systems you realise it is streets ahead.  INPS take on board what is required both for clinical and administrative use, and are constantly updating the software accordingly.”
