Flexible forms for quality data capture

VeForms is the exciting new development for Vision that allows quality data to be captured during patient encounters using flexible and powerful forms.

A VeForm is a custom designed application with a modern and flexible user interface, making it easy to use various forms including assessments, questionnaires and scoring charts. VeForms promote a non-linear workflow and data can be recorded with simple mouse clicks, making it faster and easier to record consistent information during consultations and assessments.

Fast and Flexible

VeForms are typically populated with selected data from the patient’s record, and new Read coded data is added via standard tools such as checkboxes, drop down lists and radio buttons. This data is then written back to the correct structured data area within Consultation Manager.

Data that has no Read code (such as free text) can also be added to the VeForm and stored as part of an automatically created PDF attachment.

Calculations can be performed with VeForms and the resulting score written back to the patient record.

VeForms are perfect for PCTs and Health Boards that want to standardise their forms across practices, as well as individual practices that want to improve the workflow and depth of data capture during consultations and nurse assessments.

Note: In order to use VeForms, MS InfoPath 2007 and .NET Framework v2.0 must be loaded on to the Vision Workstation. Either your PCT/HB, if you are on a LAN, or INPS, if you are on a managed server, will do this on your behalf.
