TrueFlow - Integrated Spirometry for Vision

The fully integrated spirometry solution from INPS Alliance Partner, Numed Healthcare, allows Vision users to file high quality spirometry reports and Read coded data with ease.  It is a very quick, simple and error free process that will save your practice a lot of time.

The TrueFlow spirometry solution utilises the very latest ultrasonic flow measurement technology for supreme accuracy and durability.  Numed provide a complete service that involves installation, product training and MediServe support to ensure that your service runs smoothly from the outset.

TrueFlow PC Based Spirometry

Numed’s fully integrated TrueFlow system is very simple to use:

  1. The patient is selected within Vision, and their details are transferred to the spirometry software
  2. The spirometry test is performed.  Flow/Volume and Volume/Time graphs are displayed clearly on the computer screen in addition to the numeric results and a variety of other information including predicted values, test variance and interpretation
  3. Once the spirometry test is complete, it is filed within the patient’s record in Vision with a single button click. This automatically files all spirometry Read codes and files a high quality PDF report (including graphs) to the patient record - perfect for electronic referral purposes.

The Advantages of Full Integration

A fully integrated spirometry system has many advantages for the practice:

  • The process is considerably faster than manual data entry and the reduced administration burden allows more patients to be tested in any given time.
  • Spirometry reports are filed directly to the records as high quality PDFs. This makes them ideal for referral purposes and fully compatible with Choose and Book.
  • Spirometry Read codes and reports are always filed to the correct patient and there is a reduced risk of data duplication using this integrated system.
  • All clinicians have immediate access to completed spirometry tests and high quality hard copies can be printed at any Vision workstation within the practice if necessary.
