Word Processing in Vision: Referrals and Recalls
Find out how to create mail merged patient letters for your referrals and recalls
This course will enhance your understanding of the referral and recall processes, and explain how you can produce mail merges and attach template letters to your clinical referrals.
Who should attend?
This course is recommended for any Vision user who wants to learn about referral or recall management and word processing within Vision.
Pre-requisites
Delegates must previously have attended pre-live Vision training or one of the following INPS training courses:
- Vision for New Staff
- Vision and the General Practitioner
- Vision and the Practice Nurse
- Vision Data Entry (Non Clinical Staff)
Objective
To give you an understanding of the Vision referral and recall processes.
Course Content
- Word Processing for Vision designing mail merge templates using Microsoft Word
- Referral Processing using the referral screen and setting up referral templates
- Referral letters attaching template letters to Clinical Referrals
- Recall Searches finding patients due for clinical or administrative recalls
- Recall letters using template letters for groups of patients
Course Details
This seminar style course lasts for 5 hours. The trainer will use a data projector.
