Who should attend?
Clinicians and non clinicians with a good basic knowledge of Vision who are responsible for Implementing the requirements for the new GMS contract
This course looks at data quality in relation to the GMS contract.
Objective
To enable delegates to understand the issues involved in accurate and consistent data entry to comply with the rules of the new GMS contract
Course Content
- Disease Registers: the significance of consistency in data entry and use of READ Codes
- Audit Identifying: target patients and use of reminders
- The Problem Concept: how to use and maintain problems
- Populating Problems: the process of creating and maintaining problems for groups of patients
- Guidelines: how to utilise the published guidelines for the new GMS contract
- Reporting rules and mechanisms for achievement reporting
