Become an expert in Vision's Searches and Reports

Make your Vision reporting quicker and easier by taking data out of Vision. This new hands-on course shows you how Vision data can be analysed in Excel using several Excel functions.

 

We have revised our advanced searches and reports course into two (parts three and four) at the request of our customers. This course will be hands on with the delegate having access to a computer or sharing with another staff member.

Aims

Reiterate Microsoft Excel basics, and data analysis using pivot tables and auto filters. Create a fully functioning cytology recall master spreadsheet and protocol.

Objectives

Delegates will have an understanding of how to:

  • Export a Vision search using tab separated
  • Import data using tab separated files
  • Analyse single text files
  • Make use of pivot tables
  • Use some Microsoft Excel basics
  • Create a cytology recall master spreadsheet in Excel
  • Better understand and use of the VLOOKUP formula
  • Create and run a macro in Excel
  • Know how to format cells
  • Use Microsoft Excel filters
  • Apply conditional formatting
  • Run through the cytology recall process

Previous Knowledge Assumed

It is assumed that delegates will have:

  • Attended searches & reports: Part 3 course
  • The ability to use a keyboard and mouse 
  • Understand basic windows functionality
  • Able to run simple Vision searches
  • Recognise how and where consultation manager stores its data

Course Details

Full-day hands-on course. INPS will provide Vision workstations with a maximum of 2 delegates per workstation.

10.00 – 4.00

Course Fees

£135 (plus VAT) per delegate. £85 (plus VAT) for a second delegate sharing a pc with the above delegate – from the same practice
