Institute of IT Training (IITT) TPMA Trainer Assessment

INPS is an IITT Gold Standard Accredited Training Provider and a licensed Authorised Assessment Centre, able to offer assessment of your trainers. All of our trainers are members of the IITT and four of our senior training consultants have undergone the initial Authorised Assessment Centre accreditation and are Accredited Assessors. All of our trainers have achieved City and Guilds 7303 Preparing to teach in lifelong learning sector (PTLLS).

What is TPMA?

The Institute of IT Training (IITT) has introduced an Assessment Process - TPMA (Trainer Performance, Monitoring and Assessment) that is designed to raise the standard of IT training across the industry and give trainers the opportunity to progress to achieve a nationally recognised qualification that is transferable to any part of adult education. The IITT training competency framework is aligned with the national standards for all trainers, tutors and teachers and will form part of PTLLS (Preparing to teach in lifelong learning sector).
The assessment leads to the Institute’s ICTP certificate (Institute Certified Training Practitioner), which will now be the only certification available from the Institute of IT Training.
Those successful in the assessment will be awarded a certificate from the IITT and will include their annual membership fee.

Who Should Attend?

This assessment is designed for those trainers who would like recognition of their training skills and who may want to update their trainer accreditation and qualify for professional membership of the Institute of IT Training.
