Vision Problem Management
Who Should Attend?
All Members of staff who are currently responsible for data input within a patients record
A training course designed to inform and advise practices about the features and use of Problems within the patients record view, as it may now play a significant part within QOF reporting and other CfH services
Pre-requisite
Delegates must of attended a pre-live training course or one of the following listed below instructed by a qualified INPS training consultant:
- Vision for New Staff
- Vision and the General Practitioner
- Vision and the Practice Nurse
- Vision Data Entry (Non Clinical Staff)
Aims and Objectives
- To deliver a better understanding of the advantages of problem management
- To make the practice aware of recent changes in QMAS reporting regarding problems
- To discuss alternative problem screen options
- To discuss the use and management of problems in Choose & Book
- To introduce Populate Problems
- To deliver a better understanding in creating semi automatic problems

- Understanding problem book management concepts
- Creating new problems manually
- Removing, copying and moving problem data
- Activating and deactivating problems
- Using the Topic pane
- Understanding currently relevant
- Deleting correctly
- Choose & Book problems
- Problem short cuts and tips
Using Problem Populate
- Linking medication to problems for QMAS
- Creating relevant searches
- Importance of the short name
- Creating or adding to existing problems
- Disease management
- Managing currently relevant
Problems in Reports
- How to remove currently relevant
- How to set up active problems only
Linking Guidelines to Problems
Course Duration - 3 hours
