Who Should Attend?

All Members of staff who are currently responsible for data input within a patients record

A training course designed to inform and advise practices about the features and use of Problems within the patients record view, as it may now play a significant part within QOF reporting and other CfH services

Pre-requisite

Delegates must of attended a pre-live training course or one of the following listed below instructed by a qualified INPS training consultant:

Aims and Objectives

  • To deliver a better understanding of the advantages of problem management
  • To make the practice aware of recent changes in QMAS reporting regarding problems
  • To discuss alternative problem screen options
  • To discuss the use and management of problems in Choose & Book
  • To introduce Populate Problems
  • To deliver a better understanding in creating semi automatic problems

  • Problem short cuts and tips

Using Problem Populate

  • Linking medication to problems for QMAS
  • Creating relevant searches
  • Importance of the short name
  • Creating or adding to existing problems
  • Disease management
  • Managing currently relevant

Problems in Reports

  • How to remove currently relevant
  • How to set up active problems only

Linking Guidelines to Problems
