Learn how to record information easily and consistently by writing your own practice focused guidelines, and find out how easy it is to amend guidelines written by other users to make them fit your practice requirements.
Aims
The aim of this hands-on course is to explain how delegates can understand the concept of guidelines.
Who Should Attend?
Interested GPs, Computer Managers and other Clinical Staff who are comfortable with the day-to-day use of Vision. The purpose of this course is to introduce the concept of "Guidelines" and user definable reports as well as enabling delegates to define their own guidelines and reports.
Pre-requisite
Delegates should have an understanding of using the Vision clinical system. this is not suitable for new members of staff.
Objectives
To enable practice staff to understand the importance of using guidelines for consistent data entry.
Course Content
- The concept of guidelines
- User-defined screens, protocols and management plans
- READ code triggered guidelines
- User-defined reports
- The use of patient information leaflets

This 'hands on' course runs from 10:00am until 4.00pm.
