Most Recent DLM and SIS updates

Down Line Manager (DLM) provides periodic updates to your Vision System. Below is a link to the most recent DLM, a link to the DLM history and a link to how to check which DLM is running on your Vision system.

Supplementary Install Stream (SIS) is currently used for all QOF and bounded Read code release downloads. The version details can be found in Vision – About Vision, they are listed as a Prodigy install (this will be changed to SIS in the near future).

 

DLM 310 – Distribution in Progress

DLM 310 documentation consists of a DLM310 Core user guide, which gives details of changes to existing Vision software including: Consultation Manager, Immunisations, Therapy, Mail Manager, Registration and Clinical Audit.
There are four further user guides included in this release including: User Enhancements Release 1, Mail Manager Enhancements, Vision Online Appointments and NI Emergency Care Summary.

SIS 10040 – General Release

SIS 10040 is collecting information about the Pocket Vision version used in Practices, in preparation for the release of a Pocket Vision update.

 

SIS 10030 – General Release

SIS 10030 contains the Q1 2010 Snomed cross mapping table. This utility maps Read to Snomed codes for practices using the Summary Care Record functionality and is not a visible part of the Vision software.

 

SIS 10020 – General Release

SIS 10020 contains an extension to the schedule for HPA extracts for influenza delivered in DLM 297 (Scotland only) and the Read 2010 Q1 release.

DLM 300 - General Release

DLM 300 contains changes to: Consultation Manager – (Immunisations and Therapy), Search and Reports and Test Requesting.

DLM 300 also introduces the following projects: VeForms (All countries). Bowel Cancer Screening Message (England). eCMS, Swine Flu Extract, Priority Amend (Scotland).

DLM 297 – General Release

DLM 297 contains HPA/DOH extracts for influenza (Scotland only) and Consultation Manager SDA changes.

SIS 10000 QOF v16 User Guide - General Release

SIS 10000 contains details of QOF v16 changes. The following applies to Scottish practices only. There has been a problem with the PP01 numerator lines for Scottish practices since the audits for the version 16 business rules have been installed. The associated Data Quality audits imported a search for the CVD risk assessments that overwrote the Scottish search with one for England. This means that the ASSIGN scores are not currently showing as counting towards the PP01 denominator. A fix has been written and is currently being tested. As soon as this is available, we will be applying an upgrade to all Scottish sites. We expect this to be installed very quickly but will also be posting the fix on the website should you wish to apply this earlier. In the meantime please continue to use the ASSIGN score as normal as they will be picked up in the final report.

DLM293 - General Release

This DLM contains the bounded read code list for October 2009. DLM 295 also contains this updated list.

Please note that the VES team at INPS will apply the Bounded read code list to all sites on Hosted Systems therefore these sites will not recieve DLM293.
