End of Year Recovery Plan

Following the transmissions to QMAS on 31st March 2009, a number of practices using INPS Vision reported potential errors in the figures sent to QMAS. After investigation the source of the error has been identified. We believe that figures in any audit line where the patient registered within a set timeframe (eg 3 months) before a reference date or age is calculated on a reference date may be affected.

There could be errors in Exception lines reporting on patients registered in the last three or nine months.  Indicators with these lines potentially show incorrect figures.

Also incorrect are all Organisational Records’ statistics that are age-related i.e. Records 11, Records 17 and Records 23.

Age-related clinical indicators, such as Asthmatics aged 8 years and over, are correct and NOT affected.

Statistics for all registers, eg CHD, Diabetes, COPD etc, are CORRECT.

If you have your own server (LAN) please view the recovery instructions here.
If you server is hosted (VES) then please view the recovery instuctions here.
BT Global sites should await further instruction on this page as we are awaiting an implementation date from BT Global.
