10:30 29/06/2010: BT have taken proactive steps to resolve the issues that were affecting yesterday. INPS and Cfh are continuing to monitor proactively for confirmation of resolution. INPS is aware that Cfh and ATOS are investigating slow access to the Choose and Book website today.
13:40 28/06/2010: We are currently investigating an issue where some users are unable to logon to their hosted system and receive ‘Remote Desktop Disconnected’ and ‘Remote Connection Has Timed Out’ errors. These issues have been reported by sites across all of the hosted systems and investigations so far have not identified any issue within the INPS hosted system. As the issue is being experienced by sites on all our data centres the issue cannot be resolved by failing over to another data centre. INPS are working closely with CfH and BT N3 to ascertain and redeem the current connection issues to INPS hosted systems. INPS VES and Platforms teams are continuing to investigate the issue with the assistance of BT N3.
11:01 07/04/2010 BT N3 advise that services for the 25 affected sites remains stable and monitoring will continue until full power can be restored at the exchange. The incident will remain open whilst work is ongoing, the exchange is currently running on generator power with battery back-up to enable resilience. Environmental impact assessments continue to be carried out at the exchange prior to action being taken for mains power restoration. Please note these communications relate specifically to the N3 connection at the affected sites and not to any VoIP telephony issues which GP sites may be also be experiencing.
11:23 31/03/2010 A number of sites have lost N3 connection following a fire at the North Paddington Exchange. Sites are having to employ manual workarounds. BT N3 are investigating and continue to ascertain the full list of affected sites.
