nGMS contract 2011 - 2012

The nGMS Quality Outcome Framework for 2011-12 is published with v21 of the Business Rules and INPS have rewritten the guidelines.

Because of considerable pressure from Users we have once more published QOF guidelines which contain Management tools AND Recall & Correspondence Management. The "QOF only" guideline has not been authored this time.

To run the files below you MUST be accessing the website from a LAN based Vision system or if you are on the managed service, from your Vision terminal services session, then click as instructed  below to start download, press Run when prompted and follow the on screen instructions.

QOF Quality Indicators and Management v21 Guidelines - this suite is similar in presentation to the v18 Guidelines where the QOF items are in green with the  monitoring, disease management and recall management in bright blue.

This self-extracting zip file will extract all the files required for the guideline into folder "o:\download\guidelines\gpcontract\v21.00" where the index name will be &&NCQIV21 and automatically import them into Vision and allow you to delete old entries - <click here>

** Updated 03/02/2012 **

Now saves the PHQ-9 as a TIF rather than BMP.  Those who have downloaded the previous v21 Guideline can use this patch to update their system without the need to re-install.

To populate the Read code triggers for the QOF Points and Management Guidelines <click here>.  This will automatically display the relevant QOF guidelines automatically in each patient record, either via passive triggering show in the alert screen, or by active triggering which will display a prompt screen.  To learn more, please read the download and install instructions.

The South East Wales Cardiac Network (SEWCN) have, with some technical help from INPS, produced a referral guideline and print out report in order for practices to ensure that they have the correct data for each patient who is being referred.

The User Guide available here contains instructions on the use of the guideline and the suggested Read Codes which have been used, these are in line with the Cardiac Disease National Service Framework for Wales published in September 2008.
