Read Codes

The NHSIA has a service to allow Read Codes to be maintained. It allows you to submit your requests directly to the NHSIA Read Code requests database. Submission is via a web based form, thus removing delays inherent in manual input. Automated email responses will enable users to follow the progress of their request from the assignment of Request ID to the issue of a Pre-release Provisional Response and a Final Response once the Read Release has been completed.

Drug Data (Additions and Amendments)

The Visison drug data is supplied by First Data Bank, who are responsible for adding new drugs to the system and amending the details of existing drugs.

You can contact First Data Bank directly at customerservices@firstdatabank.co.uk or on 01392 440111. They will be able to confirm when the drug will be available and answer any other questions that you may have.
